Filament is a free, community-curated catalog of 3D printing materials, printers, AMS systems, build plates, and filament dryers, paired with a personal inventory tracker. Log your spools, watch your Bambu Lab prints decrement them in real time, and learn from other makers about which materials work best with your hardware.

What we do

• Track every spool: weight, location, lot number, drying schedule.
• Auto-decrement spools from Bambu Lab cloud telemetry as prints finish.
• Aggregate a public catalog of filaments, printers, and accessories, contributed by the community and synced from open datasets.
• Connect you to good prices: most buy links are affiliate links. Some are not. Either way, your data stays yours.

What we don't do

• Sell your data. Ever. See our privacy policy.
• Track you across the web. We use Plausible-style cookieless analytics on the public catalog.
• Lock you in. You can export every spool, print, palette, and review at any time from your settings page.

How we make money

When you click a "Buy" button on a filament or hardware page, we may earn a small affiliate commission. This costs you nothing and lets us keep the catalog free. A Pro tier with higher spool limits will arrive later, but the core catalog and tracker stay free.

Who we are

Filament is built by one developer who got tired of spreadsheets and screenshot OCR. The codebase is private but the catalog is fully exportable, and we contribute back to SpoolmanDB and OpenFilamentDatabase where we can.
